Nothing says spring like the merroir of fresh Virginia oysters and crisp spring onions. This is a great recipe for some of your first cookouts of the season– it’s quick, easy, and delicious. Fire up the grill, order your Lucky Lab, and give this recipe a go!
Ingredients:
- Lucky Lab Oysters, freshly shucked
- 6 spring onions
- ½ tsp. Toasted sesame oil
- 2 tsp. Soy sauce
- Toasted sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp. Wakame salad
How to Make:
- Start by shucking your Lucky Lab oysters, and placing them on a chilled platter.
- Heat your grill to around 290 degrees
- Clean the grill grates.
- Coat your spring onions with olive oil and grill them directly until the outer layer is charred. This should take about 5 minutes, make sure to turn them regularly
- Once they’re done, peel away the outer layers
- Mix the sesame oil and soy sauce
- Top the oysters with the mixture
- Add the grilled onion
- Finish with wakame salad and sesame seeds
- Serve immediately
